The 2nd World Leather Congress opened at the Palazzo delle Stelline (Manzoni Hall), in Milan today (September 8). The event is well attended with several hundred delegates gathered from around the world with a high number taking place from the host nation, Italy. The one-day conference is co-organised by UNIC - The Italian Tanners' Association and the International Council of Tanners (ICT).

Raw material and chemical focus at 2nd World Leather Congress

The 2nd World Leather Congress, organised by the Unione Nazionale Industria Conciaria (UNIC – Italian Tanners’ Association) along with the ICT will take place in Milan on September 8 at the Fondazione Edison. Raw material issues and restricted chemicals are some of key topics for discussion during the one-day conference.

The International Council of Tanners (ICT) announced at its annual general meeting in Hong Kong on March 29 that it is to organise the 2nd World Leather Congress in Milan which will be co-organised and sponsored by the Italian Tanners' Association (UNIC) and Lineapelle.
