Vietnam shoe sector considers impact of U.S.-China trade war

Vietnam’s footwear exports are reported to have increased +8.4% in the first half of 2018, year-on-year, to US$9.45 billion. If the availability of local raw materials still fails to meet demand, this could change once new Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) come into effect in 2019, and if the trade war between the U.S. and China persists.
