University’s ambitious plans for leather

At a crowded session on the first afternoon of the ACLE on August 31, Professor Nick Petford, Vice Chancellor of the University of Northampton, launched to a group of leather industry executives and leather school alumni the plans for the new University International Centre for Leather.

Leather institute alumni association formed

A new industry former student association in India was officially formed on June 14 following a meeting at the CLRI in Chennai. The new association is formed from alumni from the Chennai Institute of Leather Technology.
