On July 14, 2021, the European Footwear Confederation (CEC), Assocalzaturifici Italiani and IndustriAll Europe Trade Union presented the results of a two-year project supported by the European Social Dialogue programme that aimed to implement best practices contributing to the recruitment and retention of younger generations in the sector. Technological audits in companies, apprenticeship and mentorship schemes were implemented and evaluated in Italy, Portugal, Poland and Spain.

EU and Mercosur countries enter trade agreement
