The Italian Association of Footwear, Leather goods and Tannery Machinery Manufacturers, Assomac, hosted a gala dinner in Milan on February 26 for companies and international agents to celebrate the export achievements of the sector, which is the largest in the world. In 2014, over 80% of Italian made machinery across the three segments was exported.
