U.S. multinational technology company, Apple, has announced that its global facilities are now powered with 100% clean energy and that 23 of its suppliers are now also committed to operating on the same basis, including a new Netherlands based leather supplier.

Stahl partners on project to clean up the Ganges

Dutch chemical supplier Stahl together with partners Solidaridad, PUM Netherlands senior experts and a number of Indian partners officially launched a public-private partnership to clean up the Ganges on November 13. The project aims to make the Kanpur Leather Cluster more sustainable by implementing new working methods and technologies with a lower environmental impact.
