JBS’s owner re-arrested under alleged corruption scheme

Released from prison about six months ago, Joesley Batista, owner of meat packing giant JBS, was arrested once again by the Brazilian Federal Police on November 9 for a supposed corruption scheme within the Ministry of Agriculture during the government of Brazil’s former President, Dilma Rousseff.
