Cargill joins U.S. CattleTrace programme

The global food, agricultural, financial and industrial products company, Cargill, has joined U.S. CattleTrace as an official packer member. Cargill is the second beef processor to invest in the effort formed by multiple state cattlemen’s organisations to develop a national infrastructure for animal disease traceability in the U.S. cattle industry.

Tyson becomes first meat company to join cattle traceability program

The beef and pork subsidiary of Tyson Foods has joined a cattle disease traceability program called U.S. CattleTrace, making Tyson the first beef processor to join the program, which was formed by multiple state cattlemen’s organisations to develop a national infrastructure for animal disease traceability in the U.S. cattle industry.
