Brazilian justice blocks JBS owners funds

Brazil’s Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) on Irregularities Tax and Fiscal Affairs Justice announced on October 5 that it has ordered J&F Investimentos, owner of JBS, to block almost R$116 million (US$52.6 million) in order to guarantee resources for a possible reimbursement to the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
