Asian tanners confirm slowing market

The comments followed a quiet Istanbul Leather Fair where Turkish tanners have been finding market conditions more challenging.

The 10th Asia International Conference on Leather Science and Technology (AICLST) opened today in the Japanese city of Okayama. Around 190 delegates are attending the three-day event which has a special focus on the environment and sustainability in the tanning industry.
