Hide and skin export data released by the Leather and Hide Council of America for January to November 2021 shows that exports of wet-blue bovine hides grew by 55% over the same period in 2020 (pandemic affected) to a global total of 4,067,922 pieces.

U.S. Q1 pigskin exports decrease against 2020

The Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA) has released its Hides and Skins Export Summary for May 2021, which shows pigskin exports decreased 31% in volume and 24% in value compared to the same period in 2020, with China/Hong Kong and Vietnam the only regions increasing in value.
