Lanxess expands Preventol capacity by 50%

The global chemicals manufacturer has announced the expansion of its production capacity for active ingredient Preventol CMK (chlorocresol) at its site in Krefeld-Uerdingen, Germany, by around 50%.

Registration of Chlorocresol in leather manufacture confirmed

The Biocidal Products Committee of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has confirmed the registration of Chlorocresol (CMK, PCMC), one of the central active ingredients in the Lanxess Preventol range, for use in leather manufacture.
