Durability is a key focus for shoe shoppers

The Footwear Distributors & Retailers of America (FDRA) and retail and product testing company First Insight have completed an industry-wide consumer shoe sustainability survey. The survey results were polled from over 1,000 shoe consumers nationwide and are said to enable companies to better refine messaging, target consumers with green marketing and adjust sales, packaging and shipping strategies accordingly.


Hermes expects slower sales in 2015

Hermes International said on February 12 that its fourth-quarter sales increased 12% partly because of strong demand from U.S shoppers, but the French luxury company expects sales growth to slow in the coming year.
