Greater optimism following the Chennai leather fair

The 33rd edition of the India International Leather Fair (IILF) concluded on February 3, and most exhibitors that ILM spoke with said they were more optimistic about the domestic market than they were following the previous edition of the fair in 2017.

ACLE underway in Shanghai

The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) began today in Shanghai bringing a mixed reaction from exhibitors at a hot humid city. While some exhibitors complained it had been slow others said that they had not stopped all day. However, the general consensus among those exhibitors that ILM spoke to was that the market remains quiet, at least on day-one for the three-day fair.

ICT warned about possible threats to automotive leather
