TFL introduce new mineral tanning agent
Chromium is by far the most popular tanning agent; however, due to increasing awareness of consumers to the potential risks of coming into contact with chrome VI; demand for chrome-free articles is on the increase.
With the launch of Tannesco FC, TFL aim to meet these demands from small skin producers (sheep and goat), and from hide tanners splitting in the lime, who look for ecological alternatives in the pretanning and tanning steps.
