LVMH launches online marketplace for unused leather

Thousands of raw hides still unsold in Bangladesh

An estimated 30,000 pieces of raw hides remain unsold in Bangladesh following the Eid al-Adha Islamic festival, which took place August 10-14 this year and traditionally represents 80% of all hides collected by tanners across the country annually.
