Declines continue to grow for U.S. hide exports

According to the latest data from the Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA), total exports for the period of January-October 2022 stood at 25,822,429 pieces, a drop of 12.8% year-on-year, while value was down by 8.3% at US$1.08 billion.

Declines ease for Brazilian hide and leather exports in November

Following a decline of 38.9% in value in October, exports of hides and skins, wet-blue, crust and finished leather were down by 19.9% in November, according to the latest data released by SECEX (Foreign Trade Secretariat) of the Ministry of Economy and reported by CICB/Brazilian Leather.
