The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Anne-Marie Kilday, was presented with gifts following the signing of a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) for ongoing collaboration with the Institute of Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT).

DIT are in the process of building a new campus in Mwanza, Tanzania which will include a teaching tannery; DIT are looking to the globally renowned ICLT and Subject Area of Fashion and Leather to support them with staff training and development.

Vicki Dean subject leader for Fashion and Leather at the University of Northampton said, “this visit presents a fabulous opportunity for both parties and we are thrilled that the relationship has been formalised by the signing of the MOU.”
