Held in Hall 1 of the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, the trade shows hosted more than 1,350 exhibitors from 27 countries and were associated with lingerie products and accessories fairs Curve Paris and Interfilière Paris, held in Hall 5 from July 2-4.

The edition marked Texworld’s 25th anniversary and was redesigned to feature a T- Club space to encourage business exchanges, a revamped scenography at the entrance to the show and a concierge service.

While 18% of the visitors were from France, the crowds included attendees from Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Germany and other countries.

The July 2023 edition also included the winners of the young South African designers’ competition, organised by Allfashion Sourcing Cape Town, show organiser Messe Frankfurt’s sourcing platform for African production.

Frédéric Bougeard, President of Messe Frankfurt France, said: “The fashion world is increasingly challenged, with consumers – and therefore buyers – becoming more demanding in terms of price, quality and durability, explains. We have to do more to attract our visitors and meet their expectations.

“That’s why we’ve decided to renew our offer, in a new venue with new services, to ‘whet the appetite’ and make the visit more efficient. Eventually, we’ll certainly have to go one step further, and offer our buyers a sharper selection of manufacturers.”

The next edition Texworld Evolution Paris will be held at the same venue from February 5-7, 2024.
