U.S. duty on footwear imports from China up 53.6%
As U.S. and Chinese officials have allegedly agreed to remove tariffs on certain goods, the average duty on a pair of footwear imported from China into the U.S. increased from US$1.02 in September 2018 to US$1.57 in September 2019 (+53.6%).
