Initially concluded at the time of Kering’s acquisition of a 30% stake in Valentino in December 2023, the amendment will not change the current ownership structure of the House of Valentino before 2028 at the earliest.

Investment entity Mayhoola, directly controlled by Qatari Mayhoola for Investments LLC and focused on global investments in the luxury industry with a long-term investment approach, has postponed options on Kering that were exercisable in 2026 and 2027 for its remaining 70% stake in Valentino; they have now been moved to 2028 and 2029, respectively.

Luxury group Kering’s call option to acquire Mayhoola’s stake in 2028 is also deferred to 2029. All other contractual provisions relating to the options remain unaffected.

With Riccardo Bellini’s appointment as CEO in August 2025 marking a new chapter for Valentino, Kering and Mayhoola reaffirm their strategic partnership to drive the growth of the iconic Italian luxury house and their full commitment to its long-term success.
