Speaking during the China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), Chen Zhanguang, Secretary General of the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), outlined the challenges and opportunities the domestic leather industry faces, with intensification of trade protectionism, the Sino-U.S. trade frictions and a rapid development of textile and synthetic materials putting greater pressure on the import and export of China’s leather industry.
