In total 16,231 visitors attended the show with 59% coming from outside France.Visitors from Italy increased by 16.5%, United States (+16%) and Japanese visitors were up 13% compared with the September 2013 edition. Visitor numbers from South Korea were down 20%.
432 exhibitors (59% tanners) from 23 countries took part in the show which was organised by new owners Premiere Vision for the first time. The new owners also announced that Cuir A Paris will be called Premiere Vision Leather from now on and will form part of the “Premiere Vision Paris” show from February 2015. Premiere Vision Paris is the umbrella show name to encompass six fairs, all of which will be renamed, and are owned by Premiere Vision.
A total of 62,431 attended the whole show which was down 0.8% compared with the year before. Premiere Vision said in a press statement: “Visitors often were forced to reduce their time at the show to anticipate flight disruptions.”
The next edition of “Premiere Visiion Leather” will take place in Hall 3 of Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte, February 10-12, 2015.
