The forum will feature several high profile panelists and presenters from throughout the leather supply chain to provide their vision of the tannery of the future. Following on from the successful event held during the APLF in Hong Kong in March, this year’s forum is in association with theSauerReport and the leather industry promotional campaign “LeatherNaturally!”.

The two-hour discussion and debate will feature some short presentations and two panel sessions covering several different aspects of the leather supply chain. The panels will be moderated and will also include an opportunity for audience participation with a Q&A session. There will also be a 30-minute coffee break during the afternoon providing participants with a networking opportunity.

The “Tannery of the Future” Leather Forum will take place on Tuesday, August 30 2016 (1.30 – 4.30pm), the day before the start of ACLE, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).

It is open to anyone connected with the leather supply chain including raw materials suppliers, chemicals and machinery, technical bodies and associations, tanners, brands and retailers. Announcements on the speakers and topics will be presented on the ILM, APLF and ACLE websites in the coming weeks.
