Firstly, the organisation has said it is in the process of pre-scheduling the release of ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (ZDHC MRSL) V3.0, ZDHC MRSL Conformance Guidance V2.0 and ZDHC MRSL Industry Implementation Approach V2.0.
Over the coming weeks, the Roadmap to Zero Programme Team is completing the review of the draft with the MRSL Council and ZDHC Contributors. The MRSL V3.0 and its supporting documents are planned to be released in the middle of September, followed by a public webinar in October.
In other news, ZDHC will be hosting an event in Chennai, Southern India as well as online for regional leather and footwear suppliers, taking place on September 15, 2022.
The event is aimed at engaging these sectors more actively in the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme, the organisation said.
It will feature presentations and panel discussions on sustainable chemical management and innovations in leather processing from leading industry peers towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals.
