Zschimmer & Schwarz’s experienced senior technologists from China and other Asian markets will be present at the trade show to explain how the company operates in detail, and new and successful applications will also be presented and discussed. With odour as a major topic in the leather industry, the supplier’s highlights for APLF 2020 will be:

CONTRIPON DEO, a reactive auxiliary to optimise leather smells originating in the beamhouse. It reacts with amine-sulphur compounds, which are often the source of unpleasant odours. As it has no influence on the final item and meets all requirements of automotive leather, according to the manufacturer, it can be used on any kind of article.

CONTRIPON VG, which supports the improvement of the leather odour if used in the last washing process of the wet-end stage. The special mixture of emulsifiers and perfume components leads to an enhanced result during the following smell test. It does not change the characteristics of the final article and meets all requirements of automotive leather as well, says Zschimmer & Schwarz.
