Under the guidance of Z&S’s team, Aykut Direk, Applications Manager, and Bodo Brandt, Senior Leather Technologist, a wide range of articles were developed by the students.
A hands-on introduction of Zschimmer & Schwarz’s well-known products for the whole wet-end leather process as well as presentations on automotive leathers and waterproofing systems were part of the agenda.
While performing the trials, many interesting discussions were held. It was rewarding to see and feel how actively the students participated in all aspects, including final evaluations and rating of the results which mostly exceeded expectations. Due to the excellent feedback another training program for 2016 was agreed.
